The Life Skills ministry will meet on the first Saturday of each month.
We have a number of teachers lined up to instruct and demonstrate some practical life skills each meeting, such as cooking, auto maintenance, bookkeeping, emergency preparedness, nutrition, handiwork and more. We also have some activities for students.
It will be a really wonderful and exciting time of fellowship for families together and for our church family. It is FREE! We do ask that you let us know if you’re interested in attending, because of supplies. If you have any questions, feel free to email Sarah at sarah@universitybiblechurch.com.
Calling all parents and fans of kids who love “Capture the Cone:”
Great News!
Our next “Capture the Cone” event is today, celebrating School’s Out for summer!
We know how much kids love this event, especially when it’s “blackout.” With this in mind, we’re staying true to Sunday night from 7-9pm.
If you’re new to UBC and to “Capture the Cone,” it’s a game just like “Capture the Flag” and you’re welcome to bring your kids, see what it’s all about, and join right in with them.
Please come out and bring your friends to share in all the fun. As always, we have ice cream and popcorn after we’re done running and sweating and having a blast!
The Attributes of God
Who Does God Say That He Is?
Misconceptions about God abound. But they don’t have to. God has revealed His character in Scripture, illuminating the attributes that define Him. While we, being finite creatures, can never truly comprehend everything that God is, we should study what He Himself has said.
In this 16-part teaching series, The Attributes of God, Ligonier Teaching Fellow Dr. Steven Lawson articulates a biblical understanding of divine attributes and explores how a right understanding of God can affect every aspect of our lives.
