We will begin a new series in September called “The Armor of God” by Bible teacher Priscilla Shirer.
Description: The Enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer’s inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory. (7 Sessions).
A bible study workbook will be made available (Cost: $15.00).
This is a small group in home Bible Study, please contact the church office for more information.

1 Peter: Living as Elected Exiles on Earth
Join us as we sit at the feet of Peter, the most brash, impulsive, and passionate of men transformed by the resurrection into the bold, wise, and equally passionate Apostle. Pastor Peter, by his life and his letter, showed us how to grow into the persons God intends for us to become–by going beyond “knowing” the right doctrine, by letting the Word of Truth work you over, to eat, drink, and breath it until it becomes part of your substance.
The new Community Bible Study season begins on Tuesday, September 11, from 10:10am – 12:10pm.
All women are invited to participate in this very informative study with other Christian women from the area. This will be UBC’s third year of hosting CBS on our campus, and everyone really enjoyed it last year. Here is the webpage for more info: http://www.communitybiblestudy.org/get-connected/find-a-class/class/?classid=12906
The Life Skills ministry will meet on the first Saturday of each month.
We have a number of teachers lined up to instruct and demonstrate some practical life skills each meeting, such as cooking, auto maintenance, bookkeeping, emergency preparedness, nutrition, handiwork and more. We also have some activities for students.
It will be a really wonderful and exciting time of fellowship for families together and for our church family. It is FREE! We do ask that you let us know if you’re interested in attending, because of supplies. If you have any questions, feel free to email Sarah at sarah@universitybiblechurch.com.
