Wendy Parise

Coming out west from NY, Wendy was new to LA and hungry to study God’s Word. She came to University Bible Church in 1978 and never left. At UBC she has been involved in earnest bible study, serving the Lord and witnessing how God works in the lives of many dedicated Christ followers. Having served on the worship team and children’s ministry for many years, Wendy is currently serving as the Women’s Ministry Leader. Her favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all this through him who strengthens me.”

What is one of your hobbies?

I play the piano

Snow or beach?

Beach. No more snow for me! (I came from NY and lived in the snowy midwest for several years)

Where is the best place you’ve ever traveled to?

Amsterdam is one of my all-time faves

What’s the most fun thing you’ve done in LA?

I love a good party!
